The Proteas will tour Australia for three T20Is and three ODIs in August 2025.
The tour of Australia will happen after South Africa’s World Test Championship final against Australia in England – and the Test series against Zimbabwe.
“South Africa’s three-ODI, three-T20I tour of northern Australia heralds the first internationals played in Darwin in 17 years, with Cairns and Mackay also to host the Proteas in August,” read a statement from Cricket Australia.

T20I series
- First T20I: 10 August, Darwin
- Second T20I: 12 August, Darwin
- Third T20I: 16 August, Cairns
ODI series
- First ODI: 19 August, Cairns
- Second ODI: 22 August, Mackay
- Third ODI: 24 August, Mackay
Australia will also play three ODIs and five T20Is against India in October and November 2025.
