CSA announce Proteas Women’s contracted squad – Annerie Dercksen in, Lara Goodall and Delmi Tucker out

Cricket South Africa confirmed the Proteas Women’s contracted squad for the 2025-26 season this week.

South Western Districts all-rounder Annerie Dercksen has been contracted this time. Western Province cricketers Lara Goodall and Delmi Tucker have not been contracted this time.

“We are proud to announce the Proteas Women’s contracted squad for the 2025-26 season, a group that embodies the depth, talent, and potential of women’s cricket in South Africa,” said CSA national teams and high performance executive Enoch Nkwe.

“It’s also a momentous occasion for Annerie Dercksen, whose performances have been impressive as she cemented her spot in the team, earning a well-deserved first national contract.

“The continuity in the squad also recognises the team’s outstanding achievement in reaching a second consecutive World Cup final, highlighting CSA’s commitment to rewarding consistent performance and building on the team’s recent success on the global stage.

“As we prepare for a pivotal year with the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in India, this squad offers the right balance of experience and youthful energy. We believe this group is well-equipped to compete at the highest level and continue making the country proud.”

The Lions and Titans have five representatives each in the 15-person squad. The Dolphins and Western Province have two each. South Western Districts have one.
