Proteas batsman Reeza Hendricks has joined the Kingsmen X for this month’s Unity Cup in the United States of America.
Hendricks is playing alongside former Knights seamer Shadley van Schalkwyk at the Kingsmen X.
International cricketers such as Pakistan’s Fawad Alam, Sri Lanka’s Shehan Jayasuriya and West Indies’ Nkrumah Bonner and others are also with the Kingsmen X.
The Unity Cup precedes this year’s Minor League Cricket and Major League Cricket seasons.
The Unity Cup features other South Africans, too, including:
- Heath Richards (RDU)
- Migael Pretorius (Asia United)
- Dane Piedt (RDU)
- Cody Chetty (RDU)
- Carmi le Roux (Clarion County Eagles)
Richards, Piedt and others have relocated to the USA, while Pretorius recently left the Knights for North West in South African domestic cricket.
