Durbanville Cricket Club have retained captain Nathan Swartz and head coach Manny Senger for the 2021-22 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
Durbanville Cricket Club are the reigning WPCA premier league champions, after winning the 2018-19 campaign.
A 2019-20 WPCA premier league winner has not been named. That season ended early amid the coronavirus pandemic. Durbanville Cricket Club and Rondebosch Cricket Club are in contention for the title, which is still being deliberated by Cricket South Africa.
The 2020-21 premier league was not played due to the pandemic.

“As we approach the new cricket season, we are delighted to announce the reappointment of Manny Senger as coach. Apart from an impressive record of achievements, he brings a wealth of invaluable experience,” read a statement from Durbanville Cricket Club.
“Our first XI will again be lead again by veteran player Swartz and supported by Leon le Roux as our new vice-captain.
“We are looking forward to an exciting and challenging season ahead – and wish our first XI senior men’s leadership all the best throughout the campaign.”
