Border Over-50 beat Western Province Over-50 by six wickets in Friday, 19 April 2024’s inter-provincial tournament cup final at the Wanderers Cricket Club in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Western Province Over-50, who were the reigning champions, posted a final total of 230 for eight. Batsmen Shaheed Meyer and Munier Holliday hit 53 and 46, respectively. Spinner Tyron Henderson took four wickets and seamer Lefty Ngece two.
Border Over-50 collected 234 for four in reply. Batsman Robin Knott hit 104 not out. He faced 110 deliveries – and hit 12 fours and one six.
Boland Over-50 beat Lions Over-50 in the plate final. Batsman Wiaan Smit hit a century.

Henderson was named player of the tournament. He finished among the tournament’s top 10 run-scorers and wicket-takers.
Holliday was named batsman of the tournament after scoring 321 runs in four innings at an average of 161.
Easterns Over-50’s Mohammad Teladia was named bowler of the tournament after taking 11 wickets in four innings at an average of 13.
