Rondebosch Cricket Club have reappointed captain Grant Edmeades and player-coach Sean Hendrieck for the 2021-22 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.

Edmeades and Hendrieck held the posts for the 2019-20 WPCA premier league, which ended prematurely amid the coronavirus pandemic. Rondebosch Cricket Club were at the top of the 12-team standings at the time.

Whether Rondebosch Cricket Club will eventually be named 2019-20 WPCA premier league champions remains in the balance, as Cricket South Africa continue to deliberate a dispute involving Durbanville Cricket Club.

The 2020-21 WPCA premier league was not played due to the pandemic. The WPCA, however, have reiterated intent to host a full 2021-22 club cricket season.
