West Indies all-rounder Roston Chase has been added to the Pretoria Capitals squad for season four of the SA20.
Chase has replaced South Africa Under-19 cricketer Bayanda Majola in the Capitals squad.
“Pretoria Capitals coach Sourav Ganguly has been shuffling his cards since the auction with West Indian Roston Chase called up for Bayanda Majola,” read a statement from the SA20.
Meanwhile, the Paarl Royals have added wicketkeeper-batsman Thomas Rew to the squad for season.
Rew has played for the England Lions and England Under-19 – and represents Somerset in the T20 Blast in the United Kingdom.
“The Paarl Royals have once again placed their faith in the fearlessness of youth with English teenager Thomas Rew called up as temporary replacement for Dan Lawrence,” read a statement from the SA20.
The fourth season of the SA20 is scheduled to start on 26 December 2025. MI Cape Town are the reigning champions. The Sunrisers Eastern Cape are the most successful team in the history of the tournament with two titles.
