Rubin Hermann, Migael Pretorius, Raynard van Tonder win top North West awards

All-rounder Migael Pretorius was named Four-Day Player of the Year at North West’s awards ceremony for the 2023-24 domestic season in South Africa recently.

Pretorius also won North West’s Players’ Player of the Year award. Batsman Rubin Hermann was named T20 Player of the Year. Batsman Raynard van Tonder was named One-Day Player of the Year.

“A special Lifetime Achievement award was awarded to Mr Kevin Smithers of Ramblers Cricket Club in Vryburg,” read a statement from North West.

“Mr Smithers has been involved in cricket development for over 50 years and was the chairman of the Ramblers CC for many of years. North West Cricket thanks Mr Smithers for his selfless contribution toward cricket development.”
