Fast bowler Ryan Cartwright’s recent success for the Titans in the 2019-20 4-Day Domestic Series attests to the positive influence of Pretoria Old Boys High School Cricket Club.
Cartwright took five key wickets in the Titans’ recent victory over the Lions at SuperSport Park in Centurion. He had claimed six wickets in last week’s draw with the Cape Cobras at Newlands in Cape Town.
He is among several franchise cricketers produced by Pretoria Old Boys High School Cricket Club, including seamers Eldred Hawken and Migael Pretorius.

Dual international Roelof van der Merwe, who has represented the Proteas and Netherlands in ODI and T20I cricket, is also part of Pretoria Old Boys High School Cricket Club rich history.
Pretoria Old Boys High School Cricket Club compete in the Northerns Cricket Union premier league – and currently occupy second position in the 2019-20 season’s standings.
