Batsmen Jack Newby, Taariq Chiecktey, Isma-eel Prince and Saulieg Rayned have joined Rylands Cricket Club for the 2020-21 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
Rylands Cricket Club chairman Waseem Amien confirmed the moves to Club Cricket SA.
Newby and Chiecktey previously played for the University of Cape Town Cricket Club. Rayned and Prince were at United Cricket Club.
Newby is contracted by Western Province at provincial level. Chiecktey made 11 first-class appearances for Western Province between 2015 and 2018.
Rylands Cricket Club have been promoted to the WPCA premier league after a successful 2019-20 first division A campaign.
The start of the 2020-21 WPCA club cricket season will likely be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 2019-20 season ended early for the same reason.
