Zimbabwe Over-60 beat South Africa Over-60 in Thursday’s triangular fixture at the Wanderers Cricket Club in Johannesburg.
Zimbabwe Over-60 posted a final total of 140 for three in 20 overs. Ian Harris and Rory McWade hit 62 and 42, respectively. Paul Gouge took two wickets.
In reply, South Africa Over-60 reached 129 for six in 20 overs. Peter Martin collected 47. McWade, Gary Pentland-Smith and Peter Sandys-Thomas took two wickets each.
South Africa Over-60 lost to Zimbabwe Over-60 earlier in the tournament, too.
Earlier in the day, Rest of the World Over-60 beat Zimbabwe Over-60 by 17 runs at the same venue. Rest of the World Over-60 tallied 169 for five in 20 overs. Zimbabwe Over-60 were bowled out for 152 in 19.4 overs in reply.
This triangular tournament will conclude on Friday.
The Over-60 World Cup will be played in India next year.
