South Africa Under-19 lost Sunday’s limited-overs fixture against Bangladesh Under-19 in Khulna by 14 runs.
Seamer Kwena Maphaka and spinner Sipho Potsane took two wickets each in Bangladesh Under-19’s final total of 268 for seven in 50 overs.
Batsman David Teeger struck 75 in South Africa Under-19’s response of 254 all out in 49 overs. He also top-scored for SA Under-19 in the series opener earlier this week.
The result levelled the five-match series one-all. The third match will be played in Khulna on Tuesday.
The fourth and fifth match will be played in Rajshahi on 14 and 17 July, respectively.
