Former Seacrest Cricket Club first XI captain Ismail du Toit has confirmed several player exits ahead of the 2021-22 Western Province Cricket Association club season.

Seacrest Cricket Club will compete in this season’s WPCA first division D. Their campaign will start against Heideveld Cricket Club, according to the WPCA’s finalised list of fixtures.

“Warren Adriaanse has left Seacrest Cricket Club after more than 10 years to join Strandfontein Cricket Club,” said du Toit.

“Altheo Mathys has also left after more than 10 years to join Peninsula Cricket Club.

“Rayaan Janodien has left, also after more than 10 years, to join Yorkshire Cricket Club.

“Zhubair du Toit has joined Avendale Cricket Club.

The 2021-22 WPCA club season is scheduled to start this month. The 2020-21 season was not played due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 2019-20 season was curtailed for the same reason.
