Spinner Senuran Muthusamy completed a first-class career-best 12-wicket haul on day three of South Africa A’s four-day fixture against Sri Lanka A in Hambantota on Thursday.
Muthusamy took seven for 122 in the first innings as South Africa A limited Sri Lanka A to 325 all out.
South Africa A then fell to to 131 all out before Muthusamy’s five for 53 restricted Sri Lanka A to 151 all out – and a 345-run lead.
Muthusamy finished with a match haul of 12 for 175.
This is the third 10-wicket match haul of his first-class career. His previous best was 10 for 90.
