South Africa A beat New Zealand A in Monday’s second limited-overs fixture in Benoni.
Seamer Tshepo Moreki, who has played Test cricket for the Proteas and recently returned to Western Province from the Titans, took four wickets in New Zealand A’s final total of 248 all out in 49.2 overs.
In response, South Africa A collected 249 for three in 43 overs. Opener Rubin Hermann, who has played T20I cricket for the Proteas, scored 109. Hermann had hit a century in the series opener, too.
Brother Jordan Hermann hit a century in this second fixture, too.
South Africa A have an unassailable two-nil series lead. The final limited-overs fixture will be played in Benoni on Wednesday.
South Africa A and New Zealand A will also contest two four-day fixtures in Potchefstroom and Benoni.
