The Veterans Cricket Association of South Africa have named South Africa Over-60’s squad for October 2025’s tour of Zimbabwe.
Four Western Province and three Boland representatives have been included in the 14-man squad.
The Lions, Titans and Dolphins have three representatives each. Eastern Province have one.
“We are proud to announce the Over-60 Proteas Veterans squad selected to represent South Africa at the Over-60 Harare International Cricket Tournament, taking place from 4 to 13 October 2025 in Harare, Zimbabwe,” read a statement from the VCASA.
“The squad was chosen following their performances at the Cape Town Over-60 International Cricket Tournament held in March 2025. The squad will be led by Aqeel Cupido from Boland, with Nikolas Rhodes from the Lions serving as vice-captain. Ben Dupree, from the Titans, will be the manager.
“The tournament in Harae will include two Rest of the World teams, South Africa and Zimbabwe.”
