South Africa Under-19 all-rounder Juan James joins Ottoman Cricket Club

South Africa Under-19 all-rounder Juan James has joined Ottoman Cricket Club in the 2022-23 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.

James represented South Africa Under-19 in the T20 Challenge last month.

He attended Wynberg Boys’ High School, which has produced Proteas past and present such as Kyle Verreynne, Jacques Kallis, Richard Levi and others.

Ottoman Cricket Club were promoted to the 2022-23 WPCA premier league after finishing in second position in the 2021-22 first division A.

They currently occupy 11th position in the 12-team premier league standings, after one win in six matches. They recently beat 12th-placed Brackenfell Cricket Club.

Ottoman Cricket Club’s next premier league fixture will be against Cape Town Cricket Club on Saturday, 3 December 2022.
