Soweto Pioneers Cricket Club have appointed head coach Tieho Matsoso for the 2023-24 Lions Cricket premier league A.
Matsoso previously held the role in an interim capacity, but has since been appointed permanently.
Meanwhile, Lenasia Cricket Club have signed leg-spinner Junaid Dawood ahead of the 2023-24 Lions Cricket premier league A.
Dawood has been contracted by the Lions from Western Province.
He has also been retained by Sunrisers Eastern Cape for the second edition of the SA20.
Elsewhere in the Lions Cricket premier league A, Pirates Cricket Club have appointed new captain Nick Liedtke.
Liedtke, who is Pirates Cricket Club’s reigning Cricketer of the Year, has succeeded former captain Chad Roberts, who has become Pirates Cricket Club director of cricket.
