All-rounder Saliegh Jaffar has joined United Cricket Club from Strandfontein Cricket Club ahead of the 2020-21 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
Jaffar was part of Strandfontein Cricket Club’s 2019-20 WPCA premier league campaign, which ended in relegation to the first division A.
United Cricket Club, meanwhile, have lost batsmen Ismail Prince and Saulieg Rayned and Qaasim Adams.
Prince and Rayned have joined Rylands Cricket Club – and Adams Primrose Cricket Club.
The start of the 2020-21 WPCA club cricket season will likely be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 2019-20 season ended early for the same reason.
