Strandfontein Cricket Club have retained head coach Kevin Heuvel for the 2023-24 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
Batsman Josh Chippendale, meanwhile, has returned to Strandfontein Cricket Club after a stint with the Warriors.
“I’m very excited for the season ahead. Having Chippendale back, he’ll add a lot of value to the club with the knowledge he was exposed to,” said Heuvel.
“I’m looking to implement something a little bit different this season. I know this group has been together for a while and has produced match-winners.
“The fire in the group has always been there. The level of maturity can be seen by the way that they play.
“So, my vision for this year is for the group to play at its fullest potential.”
Strandfontein Cricket Club ended the 2022-23 WPCA first division A inĀ eighth position with nine wins, 11 losses and two no-results.
