Former Proteas batsman JP Duminy played for Strandfontein Cricket Club in Sunday, 23 February 2025’s Western Province Cricket Association first division A fixture against Primrose Cricket Club.
Duminy was out for one run and took two wickets in a four-wicket defeat for Strandfontein Cricket Club.
Duminy played for Strandfontein Cricket Club earlier this season – and hit a century in victory over Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club.
Strandfontein Cricket Club currently occupy last position on the 2024-25 WPCA first division A points table. They have 14 points after three wins and 16 defeats.
Duminy played 46 Tests, 199 ODIs and 81 T20Is from 2004 to 2019.
Meanwhile, Cravenby Cricket Club celebrated promotion to the 2025-26 Western Province Cricket Association first division A after effectively winning the 2024-25 first division B title this week.
Western Province batsmen Valentine Kitime and Yaseen Vallie – and former Cape Cobras fast bowler Francois Plaatjies – played for Cravenby Cricket Club this season.
