Strandfontein Cricket Club have recruited Essex batsman Robin Das for a brief stint in the 2022-23 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
Das will debut for Strandfontein Cricket Club in this week’s fixture against Avendale Cricket Club. He will be available for the remainder of December 2022 and some of January 2023, too.
This is not Das’ first time in WPCA club competition. He played for Victoria Cricket Club during the 2021-22 WPCA premier league.
Strandfontein Cricket Club currently occupy seventh-position in this season’s 12-team WPCA first division A. They have won three and lost five matches.
