Sunrisers Eastern Cape have signed England all-rounder Craig Overton for the second edition of the SA20.
Overton played eight Tests and seven ODIs from 2017 to 2022 – and played for Somerset during this year’s title-winning T20 Blast campaign.
Last month, Sunrisers Eastern Cape gained spinner Simon Harmer from Durban’s Super Giants. All-rounder Jon-Jon Smuts has exited the Sunrisers for the Super Giants.
Sunrisers Eastern Cape are the reigning SA20 champions. They beat the Pretoria Capitals in the inaugural final earlier this year.
