The University of Pretoria Cricket Club (Tuks) and Durbanville Cricket Club clashed in the Super Cup on Saturday, 27 April 2018.
Tuks and Durbanville Cricket Club qualified by winning the 2018 Momentum National Club Championship and 2017 Multiply T20 Community Cup, respectively.
Tuks were restricted to a modest total of 122 all out, with opener Jiveshan Pillay’s brisk 39 and captain Neil Brand’s complementary 27 the top scores. Seamer Leon Le Roux clinched three key wickets.
Cape Town-based Durbanville Cricket Club’s reply ended on an insufficient 117 for seven, as the hosts welcomed a tight five-run win. Opener Byron Boshoff’s 29 was the highest score, while Brand snared three wickets.
