Western Province Cricket Club won the 2025-26 Western Province Cricket Association T20 premier league title this month.
Western Province Cricket Club beat Green Point Cricket Club by seven wickets in the final at the University of the Western Cape Cricket Club.
Western Province Cricket Club and Green Point Cricket Club had beaten Durbanville Cricket Club and UWC Cricket Club, respectively, in the semi-final stage of the tournament.
WPCC will represent Western Province at the T20 Community Cup play-off at the end of this month. They will play against Boland and South Western Districts’ T20 premier league champions. The winner of the play-off will advance to Cricket South Africa’s T20 Community Cup in December.

“We’re not looking too far ahead of ourselves. The next step is the Western Cape finals and then, hopefully, the nationals,” the Southern Suburbs Tatler quoted WPCC head coach Shawn Dyson as saying.
“I’m super proud of what the boys have achieved thus far, but it’s still early days in the season. This group has shown great character, but we know there’s a long road ahead.”
WPCC were Western Province’s representative in the 2022 T20 Community Cup.
