Fast bowler Thando Ntini, batsman Bryce Parsons and all-rounder Jason Smith have joined KwaZulu-Natal Coastal from the Titans, Lions and Cape Cobras, respectively.
KwaZulu-Natal Coastal have been placed among the top tier of South Africa’s new domestic structure, which will return to provincial rather than franchise competition later this year.
“It was all about maintaining stability and consolidating all the good work, that we as the KZN cricket family had done over the last four seasons,” said KwaZulu-Natal chief executive officer Heinrich Strydom.
“The Dolphins had a record-breaking 2020-21 season, therefore we made it a priority to continue with our core group of players and coaching staff.
“We are also proud to note the high value being placed on our players by the other teams. It shows that our proud KZN player production line is functioning well and contributing to the holistic success of South African cricket.”
