The second weekend of the 2021 Cape Premier League produced several standout performances.

These performances are not rated. They are simply numbered.

1. Smith stars for Sixers

2. Walters weighs in for Bulls

Hoeri Kwaggo Bulls seamer Basheer Walters took four for 33 in four overs in defeat to the District Sixers at the Eddie Fivaz Oval.

3. Swanepoel shines for Outlaws

West Coast Outlaws fast bowler Divan Swanepoel claimed three for four in two overs en route to victory over the Peninsula Patriots at the Eddie Fivaz Oval.

4. Chippendale succeeds for Sixers

District Sixers batsman Josh Chippendale struck 55 not out from 45 deliveries in victory over the West Coast Outlaws at the Eddie Fivaz Oval.

5. Rolfe rallies against Outlaws

District Sixers fast bowler Darren Rolfe collected three for 21 in 3.5 overs in triumph over the West Coast Outlaws at the Eddie Fivaz Oval.

6. Du Plessis claims four-for for Pirates

Atlantic Pirates seamer Diego du Plessis clinched four for 19 in four overs in victory over the Bo-Kaap Phantoms at Durbanville Cricket Club’s Doc Basson Oval.

7. Benning does it for the Dragons

Devil’s Peak Dragons seamer Matthew Benning took three for 28 in three overs in victory over the Cape Vikings at the Doc Basson Oval.

8. Oberholzer strong against Patriots

Hoeri Kwaggo Bulls Spinner Christiaan Oberholzer claimed three for 16 in three overs in a win over the Peninsula Patriots at the Doc Basson Oval.

9. Pringle goes big for Bulls

Hoeri Kwaggo Bulls batsman Justin Pringle hit 80 from 33 deliveries in victory over the Peninsula Patriots at the Doc Basson Oval.

10. Lukas denies Dragons

Bo-Kaap Phantoms seamer Tashwin Lukas claimed three for 13 in four overs in victory over the Devil’s Peak Dragons at the Eddie Fivaz Oval.

11. Castle can’t stop Sixers

Atlantic Pirates seamer Jaco Castle took three for 19 in four overs in defeat to the District Sixers at the Eddie Fivaz Oval.

12. De Beer in the runs for Pirates again

Atlantic Pirates batsman Fritz de Beer struck 53 from 32 deliveries in a win over the Devil’s Peak Dragons at the Eddie Fivaz Oval.

13. Young fights for Dragons

Devil’s Peak Dragons fast bowler Brendan Young collected three for 23 in four overs defeat to the Atlantic Pirates at the Eddie Fivaz Oval.

14. Crowson capitalises against Pirates

Devil’s Peak Dragons batsman James Crowson hit 68 from 38 in a loss to the Atlantic Pirates at the Eddie Fivaz Oval.
