All-rounder Niaz Ahmed has joined Cravenby Cricket Club ahead of the 2023-24 Western Province Cricket Association first division C.
Ahmed was with Rylands Cricket Club during the 2022-23 WPCA season.
“Niaz Ahmed, who has a level three coaching qualification from Cricket South Africa, will not only be joining our coaching committee but will also be playing with us,” read a statement from Cravenby Cricket Club.
“This is truly a privilege for us as his expertise and experience will undoubtedly add immense value to our team.”
Earlier this year, former Cape Cobras players Yaseen Vallie and Shaheen Khan returned to Cravenby Cricket Club.
“Niaz will be working alongside our esteemed members Yaseen Vallie, Shaheen Khan and Shehzaad Parker. With such a talented coaching team, we are confident that our players will receive top-notch guidance and support,” added Cravenby Cricket Club.
