Tygerberg Cricket Club lose Rouse

Rouse in action for Gloucestershire.

Tygerberg Cricket Club have lost the services of Zimbabwe-born English cricketer Adam Rouse, ahead of the 2015-26 season.

The 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman, who played first-class and limited-overs cricket for Gloucestershire in the United Kingdom last year, has joined Cape Town Cricket Club.

The transfer will afford the talented right-hander the opportunity in the Western Province Cricket Association’s premier league, as Tygerberg Cricket Club remain in the inferior first division A.

“We give Adam clearance to play cricket for any other club. We wish him well in all future endeavours,” read a brief statement from TCC.

CTCC recently released all-rounder Mark Hendricks and wicketkeeper-batsman Jamie Rood to Claremont Cricket Club and Fish Hoek Cricket Club, respectively.
