The umpires for season four of the SA20 were announced on Thursday.
The fourth edition of the SA20 is scheduled to start on 26 December 2025.
“Promising young umpires Andre Olivier and Warren Wyngaard are set to make their SA20 debuts this coming season,” read a statement from head of SA20 cricket operations Stephen Cook.
“Match officiating plays a crucial role in the success and integrity of the SA20. The league is proud to have been able to secure the best available South African match officials for season four and are thrilled with their performances over the past few seasons.
“The rise in status of our match officials on the international stage bears testimony to the backing and investment that we have made in this space.
“We have a great mix of experienced officials as well as some developing talent. The league is confident that the group that has been assembled will do the SA20 proud on the world stage.
“Former England Test all-rounder Ian Blackwell will be the third participant in the SA20 and England and Wales Cricket Board’s umpire exchange programme.”
MI Cape Town are the reigning SA20 champions.
