United Cricket Club have appointed new head coach Rodger August ahead of the 2023-24 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
August has effectively succeeded former United Cricket Club coach Saadiek Davids, who has moved to Victoria Cricket Club.
“We are happy to welcome Rodger August and Raafieq Isaacs to our United family as part of our senior coaching structure,” read a statement from the club.
“August will be our head coach and Isaacs will be our player-coach for the upcoming season. We are wishing you everything of the best.”
United Cricket Club have been promoted to the WPCA first division A after winning the 2022-23 first division B with 13 wins, four losses and one no-result.
