United Cricket Club have appointed Shuray Booley head of senior cricket ahead of the 2022-23 Western Province Cricket Association season.
United Cricket Club’s first XI will compete in the 2022-23 WPCA first division B after being relegated from the first division A.
They finished in 11th position in 2021-22’s 12-team first division A standings, after eight wins, 12 losses and three no-results.
United Cricket Club’s second XI will participate in the 2022-23 reserve division C after being demoted from the reserve division B.
They finished in 10th position in 2021-22’s 11-team reserve B standings, after two wins, 16 losses and two no-results.
“It is with great pleasure that we announce former first XI stalwart and convenor of selectors Shuray Booley will be the head of senior cricket for the upcoming season,’ read a brief statement from United Cricket Club.
