Former Proteas batsman Ashwell Prince represented Victoria Cricket Club in the Western Province Veterans Cricket Association league again recently.

Prince struck 47 from 27 deliveries, including three sixes, against Cape Town Cricket Club at the Boon Wallace Oval on Wednesday, 7 December 2022. One of the sixes reached the neighbouring Plumstead Tennis Club.

This is not the first time Prince has played club cricket this season. Last month, he represented Victoria Cricket Club’s second XI against Green Point Cricket Club in the Western Province Cricket Association reserve division A.

He collected 149 not out  – and briefly batted with son Joshua Prince.
