Wanderers Cricket Club have appointed Graham McMillan director of cricket.

This is a new role at the Gauteng club – and follows the recent appointment of new head coach Kreeson Naicker, who succeeded Jeff Levin.

What Wanderers Cricket Club said

“Graham, a qualified level three coach, has extensive experience in playing, coaching and administration,” read a statement from Wanderers Cricket Club.

“He has been an International Cricket Council-appointed administrator and was chief executive officer of Namibia Cricket for three years.

“More recently, he has been the coach of the Wanderers Cricket Club Women – premier league champions for the past two seasons.

“The director of cricket will assume responsibility for all coaching activities at the Wanderers Cricket Club, including the recruitment and development of coaches, establishing training programmes and player pathways.

What Wanderers Cricket Club chairman Frank Auger said

“Graham’s appointment signals a new beginning for the club, helping to build a foundation that will see a successful club far into the future,” said Auger.

“While Graham brings a great deal of experience to the role, he is also a true Wanderer, and he will put his heart and soul into the job.”
