Western Province have confirmed the squad contracted for the 2025-26 domestic season in South Africa.
Batsman Joshua van Heerden and Jiveshan Pillay have joined Western Province from the Titans and Warriors, respectively. Fast bowler Tshepo Moreki has returned to Western Province from the Lions.
All-rounder Abdallah Bayoumy was contracted by Western Province last season, but not this time. Batsman Yaseen Vallie has retired.
Seamers Onke Nyaku, Wesley Bedja and Wayne Parnell have left Western Province for North West, the Warriors and Tuskers, respectively.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Beni Hansen has exited Western Province for South Western Districts.
Western Province Cricket Association chief executive officer Corrie van Zyl said: “We are excited about our new signings for the men’s team and believe they will help us achieve our goal of consistent winning performances.
“We are also very proud of our national contracted players, who will strengthen an already strong squad when representing the men’s team.”
Western Province are currently interviewing for a new head coach. Former head coach Salieg Nackerdien resigned earlier this year.
