Fast bowler Tshepo Moreki has left Western Province Cricket Club and the Cape Cobras for the Titans, ahead of the 2018-19 season.
Moreki’s Cobras and Western Province commitments in the Sunfoil Series and Sunfoil 3-Day Cup, respectively, only allowed for one appearance for Western Province Cricket Club in the 2017-18 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
That match was against Cape Town Cricket Club at the Boon Wallace Oval in Plumstead, where he failed to take a wicket in a losing cause.
“Tshepo is a promising talent. I love his attitude on the field, he’s fit and is hungry to play, so I am looking forward to see what he can bring with the ball,” said Titans head coach Mark Boucher.
South African Test batsman Theunis de Bruyn has rejoined the Titans from the Knights, while seamers Malusi Siboto and Rowan Richards have been released from contracts.
Former Wellington Cricket Club and Cape Cobras fast bowler Zakhele Qwabe, meanwhile, has joined the Knights.
