Rondebosch Cricket Club’s Sean Hendrieck and Western Province Cricket Club’s Kyle Simmonds were the first centurions of the 2023-24 Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
Hendrieck struck 103 not out from 96 deliveries against Cape Town Cricket Club at Rondebosch Cricket Club. His innings included 12 fours and three sixes.
Simmonds collected 107 from 104 against the University of the Western Cape Cricket Club at Western Province Cricket Club. His innings included eight fours and five sixes.
In the 2023-24 WPA first division A, Ottoman Cricket Club’s Mujaahid Toffar hit 100 off 95 at Hottentots Holland Cricket Club. His innings included 15 fours.

Kraaifontein Cricket Club’s Diego du Plessis, Western Province Cricket Club’s Justin Behrens and Milnerton Cricket Club’s Lukanyo Metu took the first five-wicket hauls of the 2023-24 WPCA premier league.
Du Plessis, Behrens and Metu’s five-fors came against Claremont Cricket Club, the University of the Western Cape Cricket Club and Green Point Cricket Club, respectively.
In the WPCA first division A, Avendale Cricket Club’s Chester Alexander took six wickets against Vikings Cricket Club.
