All-rounder Wihan Lubbe has left the Warriors for North West ahead of South Africa’s 2023-24 domestic season.
Lubbe represented North West for several seasons from 2012 to 2020 before pursuing a career at the Warriors.
“It has been an incredible honour to represent the Warriors for the past few years; some incredible people and most certainly friendships that will last a lifetime,” Lubbe wrote on social media.
“Thankful for the opportunities granted to me by various people. Thanks to all who have made my stay a good one. I look forward to the new challenges ahead with great excitement, knowing that God leads the way.”
He has also played for the Lions – and more recently the Paarl Royals in the SA20.
Lubbe was capped twice in T20I cricket during South Africa’s series against Pakistan in April 2021.
