Western Province have named a 13-man squad for the 4-Day Domestic Series fixture against Boland.
Proteas pair David Bedingham and Kyle Verreynne have been included.
The match will start at Boland Park in Paarl on Sunday, 1 February 2026.
“The wickets generally are flat at Boland Park,”said head coach Rory Kleinveldt.
“The conditions are warm – having played there a few times, when you look up at the sky at 11am and then you look up again at 1pm, it seems like the sun hadn’t moved an inch. And it’s just beating down on you.
“From a bowling perspective, it’s going to be hard for us to take 20 wickets, but I think the boys are preparing really well.
“We’re thinking of creative ways of trying to make sure that we can create 20 chances in the game to give us a good chance to win the game.
“Obviously, the wickets are generally quite flat there, so the batters will be looking forward to going there and getting themselves in and cashing in, basically.”
Western Province currently occupy sixth position on this season’s 4-Day Domestic Series, division one, points table.
