Bellville South Cricket Club beat Mitchells Plain Cricket Club by 38 runs in Sunday, 6 April 2025’s Western Province Cricket Association first division D T20 final at Newlands in Cape Town.

Bellville South Cricket Club posted a final total of 110 for nine in 20 overs. Batsman Garrin Swartz top-scored with 33. Mitchells Plain Cricket Club’s Rayme Williams took three wickets.

Mitchells Plain Cricket Club replied with 72 all out in 15.1 overs. Batsman Yusuf Williams hit 18. Spinner Jerome Johnson took four wickets, including three in one over.

Edgemead Cricket Club win WPCA first division B T20 title

In Sunday’s WPCA first division B T20 final at Newlands, Edgemead Cricket Club beat Blue Bells Cricket Club by 48 runs.

Edgemead Cricket Club posted a final total of 165 for eight in 20 overs. Batsmen Vaughan Flanigan and Daryn-Lee Dorman hit half-centuries. Seamer Ammaar Abrahams and all-rounder Nadeem Bedford took two wickets each.

Blue Bells Cricket Club replied with 117 for six. Bedford hit a half-century. Spinner Dewan Isaacs took two wickets.

Victoria Cricket Club win WPCA first division A T20 title

In Saturday’s WPCA first division A T20 final at Newlands, Victoria Cricket Club beat Pinelands Cricket Club by six wickets.

Pinelands Cricket Club posted a final total of 104 for nine in 20 overs. Batsman Jason Clothier and all-rounder Jordan Woolf scored 24 and 20, respectively. Seamers Robin Kriel and Callum Daniels took two wickets each.

Victoria Cricket Club replied with 118 for four in 18.2 overs. Batsman Magmoed Petersen hit 55 not out from 62 balls, including three fours and one six. Batsman Warrick Rhode hit 25 not out. Seamers Davin May and Ross Martin – and spinner Petrus Burger – took one wicket each.

Wynberg Cricket Club win WPCA first division C T20 title

In Saturday’s WPCA first division C T20 final at Newlands, Wynberg Cricket Club beat Varsity College Cricket Club by two wickets.

Varsity College Cricket Club posted a final total of 114 for six in 20 overs. All-rounders Troy Botha and Nathier Sambo top-scored with 26 not out and 20, respectively. Spinner Lee Dixon and seamer Mohammed Rahman took two wickets each.

Wynberg Cricket Club replied with 115 for eight in 16.1 overs. Captain Devon Brown hit 58 off 25 balls, including nine fours and three sixes. Seamer Hishaam Lagadien took three wickets.
