Results and scores from the eighth week of the 2023-24 Western Province Veterans Cricket Association league.

Three group one matches were played on Wednesday, 6 December.

Group one

  • Claremont Cricket Club Veterans (179/3) beat Hanover Park Cricket Club Veterans (135/5) by 44 runs.
  • Wynberg Cricket Club Veterans (172/3) beat Northerns Goodwood Cricket Club Veterans (171/5) by seven wickets.
  • Primrose Cricket Club Veterans (161/5) beat Pinelands Cricket Club Veterans (131/6) by 30 runs.

Group two

Group two will resume with Wednesday, 13 December’s fixtures.

Points tables

Wynberg Cricket Club currently occupy first position in group one’s 10-team standings. Primrose Cricket Club and Claremont Cricket Club are in second and third position, respectively.

Hanover Park Cricket and Montrose Cricket Club are at the bottom of group one’s standings in ninth and 10th position, respectively.

Brackenfell Cricket Club currently occupy first position in group two’s 10-team standings. Cape Town Cricket Club and Ottoman Cricket Club are in second and third position, respectively.

Fish Hoek Cricket Club and Strandfontein Cricket Club are at the bottom of group two’s standings in ninth and 10th position, respectively.
