Cravenby Cricket Club and Cape Town Cricket Club were represented the best, with five entries each. Wynberg Cricket Club and Kraaifontein Cricket Club were next with four each.

Three players from Kensington Cricket Club entered, while Claremont Cricket Club yielded two.
