An Australian club cricketer took all 10 wickets in an innings recently.
Diamond Valley Cricket Club seamer Robert Pearce gathered remarkable figures of 10 for 41 in 17 overs, as Thomastown United Cricket Club struggled in a key Diamond Valley Cricket Association F2 grade fixture in Thomastown, Victoria.
Pearce bowled four victims, removed two lbw – and had the rest caught.
“Every few overs, I was taking a wicket and all of a sudden I was looking at taking 10,” Pearce told the Diamond Valley Leader.
“When I got to eight, I thought I could be in with a chance, because you are right into the tail then. When I took that last one, I thought, ‘Wow, s***, this is unbelievable’.”
