Former Test cricketers Narsingh Deonarine and Mahendra Nagamootoo have been included in the West Indies’ squad for this year’s Over-40 World Cup.
Deonarine played 18 Tests, 31 ODIs and eight T20Is for West Indies from 2005 to 2015. Nagamootoo played five Tests and 24 ODIs from 2000 to 2002.
Rayad Emrit, who played two ODIs and four T20Is from 2007 to 2018, will captain West Indies Over-40.

Two Over-40 World Cups in six months
This year’s Over-40 World Cup is being organised by the Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association. The tournament will be played in Pakistan from mid-September to early October 2023.
A second Over-40 World Cup is being organised by International Masters Cricket. It will be hosted in South Africa in March 2024.
