Western Province Colts have named a 13-man squad for this week’s fixtures against South Western Districts Colts in Oudtshoorn.
Leg-spinner Guy Sheena and seamer Cameron Fraser have been selected. Sheena and Fraser represent Green Point Cricket Club and Rondebosch Cricket Club, respectively, in the Western Province Cricket Association premier league.
Durbanville Cricket Club seamer Jody Lawrence, Cape Town Cricket Club batsman Josh Chippendale and Rylands Cricket Club all-rounder Siyabonga Venge have been retained.
Rondebosch Boys’ High School pair Daniel Cooke and Hlumelo Mgweba – and Bishops Diocesan College’s James Robb-Quinlan – have been named in the WP Colts squad, too.
South Western Districts Colts and Western Province Colts will contest a three-day fixture from 4 to 6 December – and a one-day fixture on 7 December 2025.
WP Colts beat Border Colts by an innings and 45 runs last month. University of the Western Cape Cricket Club batsman Kai Curran was the captain at the time. Western Province Cricket Club all-rounder Juan James will captain Western Province Colts this time.
