Hottentots Holland Cricket Club have appointed head coach Abdul-aziz Temoor ahead of the 2025-26 Western Province Cricket Association first division A.
Temoor held the same role at Hottentots Cricket Club previously. This time, he has effectively replaced former head coach Fahiem Adonis.
“We look forward to Abdul’s leadership, experience and passion as we continue to grow and develop together. Let’s give him our full support as we gear up for the season ahead,” read a statement from the club.
Temoor played first-class cricket for Western Province from 2007 to 2010 and, more recently, represented South Africa Over-40.
Hottentots Holland Cricket Club ended the 2024-25 WPCA first division A in ninth position after six wins and 16 defeats.
Elsewhere in the WPCA first division A, Strandfontein Cricket Club have appointed head coach Keanan Mitchell.
Mitchell held a similar role at Strandfontein Cricket Club previously before moving to Avendale Cricket Club. He returned in 2024.
He has succeeded former Strandfontein Cricket Club head coach Brad Albertus this time.
Strandfontein Cricket Club ended the 2024-25 WPCA first division A in third-last position. They won five and lost 17 matches.
