Primrose Cricket Club’s Saadiek Davids won the Over-40 Veterans Player of the Year at Saturday’s Western Province Cricket Association awards ceremony for the 2022-23 season.
Davids was key to Primrose Cricket Club’s 2022-23 Western Province Veterans Cricket Association league campaign.
He was recently named new head coach of Victoria Cricket Club in the WPCA first division B.
Wynberg’ Cricket Club’s Aqeel Cupido won the WPCA’s Over-60 Veterans Player of the Year award.
The WPCA named Claremont Cricket Club’s Alan Dawson Over-50 Veterans Player of the Year. Dawson also won Cricket South Africa’s Veterans Cricketer of the Year award earlier this year.
