Seamer Daryn Dupavillon has left the Dolphins ahead of the 2025-26 domestic season in South Africa.

Dupavillon, who played two ODIs in 2020 and 2021, has moved to the Tuskers.

“So many memories spanning over these 13 years. It has been the most incredible ride and such a privilege to play for the team I’ve spent my whole life supporting,” Dupavillon wrote on social media.

“As a fast bowler in South Africa, it’s hard enough to get a 10-year career, but to do it at my home franchise has been so special. Although I would’ve loved to have moved up higher, leaving the Dolphins as the fifth-highest all-format wicket-taker ever at the franchise is something I’ll hold close.

“As a fan, I’m excited to see what the future of this current group looks like and am even more so looking forward to battling it out with them on the park. There’s still loads left in the tank so I am looking very forward to what lies ahead.”

The Tuskers have been promoted to division one after winning three titles during the 2024-25 division two season.

They have also signed seamers Hardus Viljoen and Daryn Dupavillon from Northern Cape and the Dolphins, respectively.

Seamer Renaldo Meyer has also joined the Tuskers from the Warriors.
